While most East Coasters hunkered indoors as winter storm Jonas raged on Jan. 23, 2016, Casey Neistat shredded the streets of New York City on a snowboard pulled by a car.
Neistat, whom Tech Insider interviewed in November 2015, is the 34-year-old co-founder of social video-sharing startup Beme. He's also a prolific YouTuber and apparently a brave (insane?) man of the snow.
In the video, which was certainly illegal and incredibly dangerous — we insist you never try anything like it — a four-wheel-drive Jeep yanks Neistat through the streets on a rope.
He jumps off snowbanks, high-fives pedestrians as passersby cheer, and scoots through Times Square:
A skier even joins the fray at one point, and together they sail past snowplows:
